BRIEF SURGICAL FACTS

While the details of this surgery are dependent on the individual case of the cancer survivor, this procedure generally takes approximately two hours in the office operating suite or a surgicenter. Most patients are typically off work for 10-14 days, but may require up to three weeks, with six weeks before a return to full activity. Nicotine restrictions also apply to this procedure.
